Research
My research activity is in the field of microelectronics, with particular focus on components (e.g. sensors), embedded systems (e.g. advanced systems based on sensors, actuators, microcontrollers and transceivers) and their applications in wireless sensor networks, ambient intelligence, wearable computing and natural interaction. Domains of interest are the field of cultural heritage (combined with virtual reality) and the field of healthcare, rehabilitation and assistive environments.
