Ing.Michele Magno

Michele Magno was born in Italy on December 9th,1976. He received the M.S. degree in Electronical Engineering ( specialization in Computer Architecture) from University of Bologna in February, 2004. He recieved the Phd n Electronical Engineering ( THESIS: "Sistemi rinconfigurabili a basso consumo per il monitoraggio distribuito" - "Reconfigurable low power system for distributed monitoring") from University of Bologna in May 2010.

He has worked in 2005 in CINECA Super Computing Center, Italy.

Since January 2006 he is working with the University of Bologna on the topics wireless sensor node.Since January 2007 he is a Ph.D. student, since January 2010 he is a post-doctoral at the same University under the supervision of Prof. Luca Benini. His research interests concern design and analysis of low power and energy efficent wireless sensor networks for ambient intelligence and ubiquitous computing, in particular on wireless video sensors nodes and pyroelectrict infrared sensor (PIR).
